Harmon's was formed on the 29th May 1964, offering a grinding and tooling facility for the Aerospace, Defence and Commercial Markets.
On 20th February 2000, Harmon purchased a 30,0002 feet purpose built premises on Haviland Road.
In April 2000, the Metal Treatments division was set up, mainly to reduce lead times on in-house programs, but now offering the service to other suppliers and our customers direct.
In 2006 an extension to the Treatments facility was completed, new lines have been purchased and are up and running, Cadmium plating, dull, bright and low hydrogen, phosphate and chemi blacking.
New premises bought 2007, a further purchase of free hold buildings now increases our floor space to excess of 42,000 sq ft.
Investment has always been a must, and Harmon is constantly investing in the latest CNC, machines in the grinding facilities.
This forward thinking has enabled Harmon Grinding attain an enviable reputation for grinding complicated and intricate components, the skill of our technical team not only makes this possible but are also able to achieve this for a competative price.
